31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 4
I have been so behind on blogging lately it's not even funny.. and for that, I am deeply sorry to my readers. Life has been kind of hectic lately. I was traveling and just got back today from California. I drove the long almost six-hour drive there and back to spend time with an old friend. Therefore, I did not get very much blogging done this week. It was a slow blogging month for me but I am planning on coming back full swing hopefully this week because I miss it. I really miss writing. I am still working on getting these challenges done when they should have been done months ago. Oh well, I always end up doing things on my own time anyway.
31 Day Blog Challenge Day Three
I know that I am behind on these challenge posts. I am trying to get better about doing them and I have every single intention of finishing all of them. It's been a slow week as far as my writing goes. I just haven't had the urge to write much lately and as with anything... I am not going to force myself to do anything I don't want to do if I don't have to do it. I would rather have good meaningful content. Not just random posts just for the sake of posting every single day. If that makes sense. So let's get a move on with this and these challenges.
June Favorites
Wow, I cannot believe June has already come to a close. It went by super fast. I honestly have no idea where it went. The month only just felt like it started. Did anyone else feel this way? I traveled back east to my cousin's wedding. Which was absolutely beautiful. I got to see family that I haven't seen in a long time. June brought lots of reflection for me. While it's been hella hot here in Arizona. I still am managing to get a lot of stuff done and make progress. The heat is getting to my mental health... I will admit and sleep. It's the same thing every summer and it is what it is. I had a lot of new favorites this month that I thought I would share.
Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag
I cannot believe how fast this year is going and that it's already halfway over. I love looking back at the books I have read. I am a sucker for any kind of personal reflection. Let's just dive into the questions.
31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 2
I have been kind of behind with posting these challenges but hey, life happens. With that being said, my next challenge to complete is to write 20 facts about me. Here it goes...
Harry Potter Spell Tag
I was tagged by the lovely Castle Library over on her youtube channel to do this tag. Of course, I love all things, Harry Potter... So I jumped at the opportunity to do this tag. Right now I am feeling some Harry Potter vibes reading these spells.
How I doubled my blog views using Pinterest
I have always had a Pinterest but in all honesty, I have never really used it much. Up until about a month ago, I do not think I could live without it when it comes to blogging. I get most of my blog inspiration for posts etc from Pinterest. Not to mention all of the bloggers I have met via Pinterest.
20 Questions Book Tag
Tomorrow, I am flying across the country and going back east to my cousin's wedding. I am in a crazy cleaning mode right now. Doing about 7 loads of laundry and I needed a break. So I thought I would take some time to blog before I go back to cleaning. Tags are the fastest blog posts for me to do and some of the most fun. Then, I found this one on Jenny in Wonderland and I knew I had to do it. Go check out her blog it's super cute.
My Life In Books Tag
I have been trying to be better about doing new tags at least once a week. After searching the internet, I could not find who the original creator of this tag was. If you know, please let me know. I would love to give them credit for it.
How To Cope With Anxiety
I struggle every single day with terrible, gripping anxiety. I know I am not alone in this. It's been pretty bad lately to where I struggle to do even medial tasks like going to the grocery store or just leaving the house in general. Since I struggle with terrible panic attacks and I know lots are affected just like me. Why not share with you some coping skills to try when in a state of panic. These skills sometimes help me. Remember, you are not alone. Do not feel bad about yourself. This only makes things worse.
May Favorites
Another month has gone. This year is flying by so fast. I cannot believe it is already going to be June. For the past four months that I have been blogging it has mainly been about books. But with the summer also comes change. No, I am not abandoning my bookish content or the niche in general. Do not fret, my precious readers. I am simply just adding more non-bookish content to my blog. I like growing and expanding as a blogger and writer. In all honesty, there are a lot of things I want to discuss other than just books. There are so many other things that I am also interested in.
Harry Potter Personality Book Tag
It's time for another book tag. First, before I do anything.. I want to give credit to my girl Castle Library for making this original creative book tag. Thanks for tagging me in it. I got so happy when you tagged me in this because I am a huge Potter fanatic. Come on! What book nerd isn't?
The Book Lover's Tag
I found this tag online and I thought it would be fun to do. I couldn't find the original creator. If you know who it is let me know in the comments below. I would love to give them credit.
My Top Five Most Read Authors
As I was sitting here, I began to be curious about who are my top five most-read authors according to Goodreads. So obviously, I went and did a search and thought it would be cool to share with you guys who they are and what books I have read by them.
How To Start A Successful Blog
First and foremost, I want to put out there that I am in no way an expert when it comes to blogging. I have only been at it for four months now. However, every single day I am immersing myself into the community and learning every single thing I can about blogging. To me, this isn't just a hobby. Maybe, it's the perfectionist in me but I like doing things full force and not half-assing things. Screw my french.. because let us be honest here. There are thousands of other competitors out there.
The Greatest Showman Book Tag
I am a huge musical fanatic and a fan of this film. When I saw bookish bits blog doing this tag. I immediately knew I needed to do it as well. If you have not seen this film yet. You need to stop what you are doing and go get a copy immediately! You will not regret it. Thanks to this booky place for creating this tag.
Must Read YA Books Without Romance
Lately, I have been reading a lot of YA books with cheesy fluffy romance or first love scenarios. Let me say finding a YA book that does not have a romance is hard to come by. But yes, they do in fact exist. As a single girl in my 20s, I am tired of reading about the romance period. At least for now anyway. I find myself getting annoyed very easily as I read the character's dialogue and watching them fall in love. I don't know maybe I am being more of a pessimist lately and just fed up with love in general.
May and June Releases I Want/Need To Read
There were so many amazing books released/being released soon that I still need/want to read and or check out. These titles will more than likely come up as a review on my blog within the next year. Hopefully (: Which of these titles have you already read or most looking forward to reading? For me, I am dying to pick up the sequel to Stephanie Garber's Caraval (Legendary) coming out on May 29th. This girl is buying it the day it is out because I was not fortunate enough to obtain the arc. I am excited to say I did receive the arc for The Strange Fascinations Of Noah Hypnotik. Let me take a minute while I fangirl over all these beautiful covers.
