DAY 1: INTRODUCTION
I found this challenge on Pinterest and I thought it would be fun to do. Finding blog topics is not always the easiest thing to come up with when blogging. I often turn to Pinterest for inspiration and came across this picture. Day one is just an introduction and to me that could mean so many different things. For my interpretation, I decided I would discuss with you the new directions that I am hoping to take with my blog. As some of you know, recently I just announced in another blog post that I would be shifting from just strictly book blogging to lifestyle and other related fields. This is still happening but the more I think about where I want my blog to go. The more topics I find myself wanting to discuss. Yes, I am still going to be posting a lot about books, reviews, etc. This is still a book blog but it is not just a book blog... if that makes sense to you. I have many other loves and passions outside of just books. I want to share my knowledge and thoughts about so many different thing. There's so much I cannot wait to share with you. For example, I love fashion and anything beauty related. I have my cosmetology license and I would like to expand on that knowledge and spread some of my insight and training to you. Which includes all things hair, skin, and nails. Not to mention all of lifes ups and downs and what I have found to be the best source of advice when it comes to mental health and life in general. I have lots of knowledge when it comes to behavioral health. Not only from suffering from it personally. Dealing and helping others that struggle but also studying it as well. Before I decided to really concentrate on my writing and myself. I was majoring in Psychology and behavorial health in college. I love blogging about my own experiences because if I can help even one person out there to make a difference that means all the world to me. This is the very reason I love writing so much is because I love giving someone hope. I try to give back in any way I can. For me, other literature and things I have read online or researched is the very reason why I am able to live with the anxiety and depression every single day. To me, writing is so powerful and impactful. It is my reason to get up in the morning every single day and to keep fighting. Always remember that even if you feel alone there is always someone there to help. Even in the darkest pits of dispair. Reach out and read. You would be surprised who would answer your call when you least expect it.

Onto a more happier note..... if you want to join me by doing this challenge. Let me know in the comments below. Also, what kind of content do you enjoy reading? What would you like to see from me and my blog? Let me know. I would love to hear from you and chat about anything.
xoxo,
