Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is all about color. For those unfamiliar with Crayola Crayons, they’re the best crayons ever and they come in a huge box that was, and still is, every child’s dream to own. Crayola has come out with special ones that were fun to collect, like fluorescents, magic scents, metallic, pearlescent, colors of the world, and even ones with glitter in them. Some of the colors were boringly named like Red, Forest Green, Light Blue, etc. But there have also been some pretty unique and creative-sounding ones like Mountain Meadow, Wild Strawberry, Fuzzy Wuzzy, Tropical Rainforest, Sunset Luau, Winter Gala, Cerulean Frost, Twilight Lavender, Confetti Sunset, Fire In the Sky, and so many more (here’s a list of them). Do any book titles sound like a color to you? Get creative with this one. Your picks don’t even need to have an actual color name in them. Just imagine your titles as colors and see what you come up with. I’m going to include what the color would look like in my list just for some extra fun.

I used to love drawing with Crayola Crayons as a kid. So, I thought this week's TTT topic was super cool/creative. I love different cool colors and still like to draw and paint to this day. I am all for art projects and anything creative.

1. Midnight Blue by L.J. Shen

  • I picture this color being like a dark/navy blue crayon color.

2. Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
  • I picture it like a yellowish lemon color for this one.

3. When Ashes Fall by Marni Mann
  • A brown/tan color like fall leaves reminds me of this title.

4. The Devil Wears Black by L.J. Shen
  • Either a very dark black or a dark red color would be cool for this book title.

5. Spark by Chelle Bliss
  • Either a bright red color or bright neon orange reminds me of this title.

6. Sugarcoated by Erin Nicholas
  • I picture it like a bubble gum pink color for this title.

7. Melting Steel by C.M. Seabrook
  • This would for sure be a silver color. Almost something luminescent would be cool or glittery.

8. In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren
  • A bright Christmas tree looking green. Something Christmas colored like. Maybe, even a sparkly emerald green would be cool. This would make a really cool special edition colored crayon.

9. Mr. Pink by Tessa Layne
  • A hot pink color for this title.

10. A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult
  • A bright neon yellow would be cool for this book title.

What book titles sound like crayon colors to you?
