My mental health is often a rollercoaster of emotions. Especially this time of year with the holidays coming up. It's important to know that when it comes to your mental health struggles you are going to have good days and you are going to have bad days. However, you aren't alone and that it is okay to not be okay. Taking a mental health day for yourself once in a while to recharge your brain is extremely important.

When I am struggling, I often like reading mental health quotes. It helps me realize that I am not alone in my brain or thoughts. That other people out there think just like me. Sometimes, feeling alone is the scariest part of mental illness. No one is ever truly alone. There is someone always there willing to help. The first part is just asking for help. Asking for help may be the hardest part but it can also be the most rewarding.

I don't know about you but all of these quotes are super relatable. There are many times that I have wanted to run and hide when I am having a bad mental health day. It's important to never give up. Keep fighting because you are worth it!

Being in a mental health crisis can be very scary. I often don't think straight when I am in one. Use this as a guide for when these situations arise. Every idea below helps me immensely. All of these ideas are quick easy fixes when you start to feel panic coming on.
