You are going to have good days and bad days. There is no way you can avoid bad days. As humans, we are going to get agitated every once in a while. The important thing is to not wallow in your misery. There are many things that you can tell yourself to instantly feel a little better about your situation. So, I thought I would name a few in case you find yourself having a bad day.

1. This too shall pass

The feeling you are having right now no matter how big it may seem will not last. Take some deep breathes and realize tomorrow is a new day. The day is what you make out of it. It is okay to have a bad day once in a while.

2. You are not alone

Take comfort in knowing that millions of other people are having a bad day just like you. You are never truly alone. Never forget that.

3. You have a lot to be thankful for

Someone out there always has it worse than you do. Celebrate the little things in life. For example, I am not homeless and have a bed to come home to. The more you think about what you do have versus what you don't will instantly make you feel better.

4. You are important

You are not ALONE and many people do care. More than you would ever even think. There is always someone out there to support and love you. All you have to do is just reach out and ask.

5. You are unique

There is only one you on this whole planet. You are special. No one else can recreate you. You have so much to offer this world. You are beautiful in your own way.

6. There is a lot to look forward to

Think about everything exciting that there is to come in your life. Happiness is just around the corner. Create something exciting to look forward to. Maybe even a vacation perhaps? Get excited about something. It helps to change your mood for the better.

7. Disappointment is apart of life

Remind yourself that everyone gets disappointed. It is completely natural. Learn from the disappointments and move on. Keep trudging forward.

No one is okay 100% of the time. You will be okay. Everyone has bad days but it is important to learn from them and move on. Do not get stuck in your own head.
