The ‘I Should Have Read That Book’ Tag


First of all, I found this tag via @berriesandbooksblog! There are a lot of books that I still have yet to read. My TBR pile is huge and ever-growing just like every other book nerd. The tag was originally created by Beth over at Books Nest, It looked like a lot of fun. So, I decided to do it!

1. A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
I actually do not have any bookish friend's in real life. Except, I just started getting my best friend to read. So, we will see if she continues to pick up books. Lately, they are only books that I have recommended to her. I will get recommendations from My Dad from time to time though.
2. A book that's been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven't picked it up

There are way too many to list. One that I can think of is The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.

3. A book in a series you've started, but haven't gotten round to finishing yet

One of the main ones that I am dying to finish is The Wayward Children Series by Seanan McGuire. I have around two more books to read I think. This is such a magical and unique series. 



4. A classic you've always liked the sound of, but never actually read

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. I love the concept and message behind this book. I just have read to read it. I really want to up my classic reading game this year.




5. A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read

I have to read a lot more popular books but one I can think of is Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. This book has gotten some major hype.

 

6. A book that inspired a film/tv adaptation that you really love, but you just haven't read it yet


I pride myself on usually reading the book before seeing the movie. However, I love The Devil Wears Prada movie and have yet to read the book.



7. A book you see all over Instagram but haven't picked up yet

I see this book in a lot of places, not just Instagram... Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. I really need to get to this book.
