Money or love? Which would you choose? You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it's an easy decision. For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot. I needed to go far away to think it through. As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation. Then, he left. I thought I'd never see him again. But fate had other plans. Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight. The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed. Carter was dangerous and always on the move. Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary. He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places. A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter's reputation were never far behind. I didn't know what to believe. But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot. At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride. All good things must come to an end, right? Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.
A girl ends up liking a mysterious man she meets in the airport that turns out to be her pilot on her next flight.
It is not hard for Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland to outdo themselves when it comes to romance novels. Both are powerhouses and two of my newest favorite authors. Playboy Pilot is one hell of a ride. Plus, the book takes you on many different locations which are a plus. Both authors write so seamlessly together you would have no idea that it was two different authors unless told so. I have yet to find a book of theirs to not be less than a four-star read! All of their books have beautiful character development. This time around, I fell for the main star of this book. His name is Captain Carter and boy do I wish he was my boyfriend.

The book also follows heroine Kendall. She is alone in an airport lounge one day breezing through travel magazines trying to figure out where she wants to travel to. Kendall is having a life crisis and decides that she has to get away and does not care where to. Just when she least expects it a mysterious man comes up to Kendall and starts flirting with her. Both of them are instantly attracted to each other. Their conversation is sassy and very hot. Kendall cannot believe how cocky this mystery man is being. The man, who is Carter, looks at the magazine that she is reading and suggests that she go to Rio on the next flight out.

Taking the man's advice, Kendall buys the next ticket out to Rio. Kendall thinks she is bound to never see this mysterious man again. She becomes almost sad even. Nonetheless, she boards her plane and starts to sit back and relax when the captains voice comes on ahead. Who is it but Carter himself! The very man she had just been flirting with in the airport lounge.

When the airplane lands they pair up and decide to go on an adventure together in Rio. This was one thing that I found to be fascinating. Kendall barely knew Carter yet she had no caution at all to just go off with him. To me, she seemed to be a little reckless but she did want to take a chance that would never come along again. I honestly would have no idea what I would have done in that situation.

Both Carter and Kendall start spending even more time together and eventually start to fall for one another. Kendall joins Carter on other flights and eventually comes home to The United States with him. Throughout the novel, Kendall has to make some very tough life choices that I will not spoil for you. You just have to pick up the book to find out what happens to their relationship. Do they stay together or not? Was their epic adventure just a fling?

Yes, some of the plot is a little far fetched and unrealistic but that did not make me like Playboy Pilot any less. I was very close to giving the novel five stars. However, I reserve five stars for my utmost favorites. Do not get me wrong I did adore Playboy Pilot. The book was very fast-moving and had all the best romance scenes a girl could want. My heart was very warm while reading and I smiled a lot. Yay for another well-done entertaining novel by one of my favorite author duos.
