The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn’t exactly make a good impression. I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date. He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice. So I told him to mind his own damn business—his own tall, gorgeous, full-of-himself damn business—and went back to my miserable date. When he walked by my table, he smirked, and I watched his arrogant, sexy ass walk back to his date. I couldn’t help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked. When the gorgeous stranger and his equally hot date suddenly appeared at our table, I thought he was going to rat me out. But instead, he pretended we knew each other and joined us—telling elaborate, embarrassing stories about our fake childhood. My date suddenly went from boring to bizarrely exciting. When it was over and we parted ways, I thought about him more than I would ever admit, even though I knew I’d never see him again. I mean, what were the chances I’d run into him again in a city with eight million people? Then again… What were the chances a month later he’d wind up being my new sexy boss?
A girl falls in love with her new boss in a heated office romance.
Bossman was a beautiful romance novel. There was just enough steamy moments, heartfelt moments, and comedy to make it a book that I very much enjoyed reading. Any romance fan would like this story. It follows a girl named Reese who is on a terrible first date. She goes to the bathroom where she starts to get mocked by this hot man named Chase. Basically, he starts making fun of the date that she is on and why doesn't she give the poor man a chance.

Chase follows Reese back to the table and pretends to know her by making small jokes about their "so-called old relationship" that is totally fake. Reese plays along with him. The whole thing made me laugh. After the whole night is over, Reese cannot forget this mysterious man who played along with her on her horrible date. To her surprise, she runs into Chase again and fires ignite. Little does Reese know, Chase is about to become her new boss. Then, an office romance ensues.

Chase continues to pursue Reese as she continues to shoot him down. Chase is very cocky and keeps telling her that one day he will get her in his bed. Reese keeps trying to deny him but eventually, she cannot say no. There is a whole lot more to the backstory of Bossman but I do not want to give anything away.

The heart that this novel has is breathtaking. I felt so much for these characters. The love story is inspiring and beautiful. If you like romance novels, please give this one a try. You will not be disappointed. Both Chase and Reese have so many layers to themselves. Bossman almost became five stars for me. The only reason why it did not is that some parts did not feel totally believable for me.

The ending of Bossman was perfect! There were definitely parts that made me squeal excitedly. Chase is definitely a new book boyfriend of mine that I wish I had. This is one office romance that you do not want to miss!
