January Wrap Up

That was one fast month! My birthday came and went very fast this year. Horray for turning 26! Another year blessed to be on this Earth. I am alive and healthy. It is now February and my blog has officially turned two. I cannot believe that I have been on this crazy journey for two years now.

If you are new to my blog then welcome. If you have been here from the start of it all then thank you for being here this long and for encouraging me through all of my ups and downs. Without you, my blog wouldn't be where it is today. Readers like you have inspired me to never give up and to keep fighting. Everything worth fighting for is hard work.

I am so unbelievably thankful to all of you out there. If you have any inkling to start blogging then do it! Having a blog is so much fun. It has been an amazing outlet for my mental health. I wake up every single day excited to see where my blogging journey will take me next.

I have decided to go back to college and finish my degree online. My first day was today, February 3rd, as I am writing this post. Your girl is the biggest overachiever and has already completed most of her assignments for the week. To be fair, I am taking an introductory course. Each class is only seven weeks long. I cannot wait to finally have a degree in mental health counseling. Don't worry, I am not going anywhere and still plan on blogging. You cannot get rid of me yet!

My reading was great this month. I even got my best friend reading books with me this month! She has become hooked to reading. Who knew? This month I read a total of six books!

Books Read:

Favorite Book:
This month my favorite book that I read was Josh + Hazel's Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren. Christina Lauren is one of my favorite authors for a reason. I even got my best friend hooked on their books now. This book was easily a five-star book for me! Each month, I am going through their lists of books and trying to read all of them.

Biggest Letdown:
Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka. I was wanting to love this book. Instead, it turned out to be pretty average. It was not horrible but it was not necessarily good either. Instead, it fell kind of flat.

February releases that I am excited for:

Song of the month:

Taylor Swift - Only the Young

Tv Show:
I started binge-watching the new reality tv show on Netflix called The Circle. It's kind of addicting.

Movies:
I rewatched What Dreams May Come and was bawling my eyes out at 3 am. If you haven't seen this beautiful film then please do. You will not regret it. It will make you think about your life and what is important.

My best friend and I went to the movie theater and saw Like A Boss. It is the perfect movie to go see with your best friend. It was hilarious. Way better than I thought it would be.

Outfit:
I have been living in my new Tinkerbell sweater! It's so comfortable. Plus, it's really cute when you have it on. Thank you, Aunt Sue, for getting it for me.

Product:
I don't know what I would do without Benefit Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Fiber Gel! My brows are almost non-existent and this makes my brows look amazing! It is easily one of my favorite make up products. It's also very easy to use. You don't have to be experienced with makeup to make it look good.

Well, there you have it! That was my January and all of my favorites. I hope you enjoyed this post. How was your month? I would love to know in the comments down below. What did you read this month? Did you watch any good tv shows or movies?

xoxo,

  2. Happy birthday and blogoversary! I really enjoy your positivity. I smiled the whole time reading your post. I read Letters to the Lost too (Nicole at FYFA highly suggested it) and I loved it. Good luck with college--it sounds like you are doing well already.
