Christmas is just around the corner and it's so exciting. I feel like it was just Christmas last year. The year is just flying by. Lately, I have been in the Christmas mood and this girl has already created a new Christmas inspired playlist!



One of my favorite things about Christmas is all the amazing holiday movies. I thought I would share some of my favorites with you. All of them are must-see movies to add to your holiday movie lists.
1. The Year Without a Santa Claus  (1974)

When a weary and discouraged Santa Claus considers skipping his Christmas Eve run one year, Mrs. Claus and his Elves set out to change his mind.










2. Home Alone (1990)
An eight-year-old troublemaker must protect his house from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation.









3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
The Griswold family's plans for a big family Christmas predictably turn into a big disaster.











4. The Santa Clause (1994)

When a man inadvertently makes Santa fall off of his roof on Christmas Eve, he finds himself magically recruited to take his place.







5. Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)

A man must struggle to travel home for Thanksgiving with an obnoxious slob of a shower curtain ring salesman as his only companion.









6. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
On the outskirts of Whoville, there lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch (Jim Carrey), who plans on ruining Christmas for all of the citizens of the town.


7. A Christmas Carol (1984)
An old bitter miser who rationalizes his uncaring nature learns real compassion when three spirits visit him on Christmas Eve.


8. A Christmas Story (1983)
In the 1940s, a young boy named Ralphie attempts to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun really is the perfect Christmas gift.

9. It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
An angel is sent from Heaven to help a desperately frustrated businessman by showing him what life would have been like if he had never existed.


10. The Polar Express (2004)
On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.

11. Christmas with the Kranks (2004)
With their daughter away, the Kranks decide to skip Christmas altogether until she decides to come home, causing an uproar when they have to celebrate the holiday at the last minute.


12. Jingle All the Way (1996)
A father vows to get his son a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas. However, every store is sold out of them, and he must travel all over town and compete with everybody else in order to find one.


13. Elf (2003)
After discovering he is a human, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole decides to travel to New York City to locate his real father.


14. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
One year after Kevin McCallister was left home alone and had to defeat a pair of bumbling burglars, he accidentally finds himself stranded in New York City - and the same criminals are not far behind.


15. Eloise at Christmastime (2003)
A 6-year-old girl tries to reunite a young woman with a former boyfriend before she marries another.


16. The Santa Claus 2 (2002)
Scott Calvin has been a humble Santa Claus for nearly ten years, but it might come to an end if he doesn't find a Mrs. Claus.


17. Love Actually (2003)
Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England.


18. While You Were Sleeping (1995)

23. Home For The Holidays (1995)

24. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion.
25. Meet Me in St. Louis (1944)

In the year leading up to the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, the four Smith daughters learn lessons of life and love, even as they prepare for a reluctant move to New York.
