June came and went super fast this year. I spent most of the month on the couch and in the hospital due to my lovely kidneys! I even had surgery to remove kidney stones which were not fun at all!! I am still recovering but thank god most of the pain is gone.

Your girl read five books this month. Not too shabby considering I was out of it for most of the month. It was a month of extreme heat in Arizona as always in the summer months here. I need a vacation. I decided to go back to brunette from a blonde. It's way less maintenance.

Books I read:

Biggest letdown:

Fates and Furies, I DNF it. I was so bored that I gave up reading the book around 3 hours into the audiobook. There was a lot of fat-shaming and it made me very mad.

Favorite book:

The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B, this was such a sweet story about a young boy dealing with OCD and mental illness. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this story. There were many parts that I could relate to personally since I struggle with OCD myself.

My novel update:

I barely wrote anything this month in my book. However, I did increase my blog posts so that's always a good thing. Lately, I have been focusing more on my blog and reading. As long as I am writing that's all that I care about.

Songs of the month:

Sleepyhead - Young & Sick

(My Brothers Newest Song!! It's so good!)
Fly Felix - Fear and Love

Muse - Starlight

Tv:

The Bachelorette! It's a guilty pleasure of mine and I am not ashamed to admit it. I love Hannah this season she makes me laugh.

I have been watching the second season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. This show is stunning in every single way. I don't know why I waited so long to watch the second season. It's so freaking good. At least now I won't have to wait as long for season three haha.

Movies:

It's an oldie but goodie... I rewatched Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. I hadn't seen it in years and I had a lot of laughs rewatching it.

I watched Mom at Sixteen it's a Lifetime movie but actually really good. I love Danielle Panabaker. You'll feel all the feels. There were several moments where I thought I was going to cry. It's super touching. Lifetime movies pull at your heart.

Clothing

I bought these amazing leggings from Walmart. They are so comfortable. I love them to death. I live in leggings and workout pants in the summer months.

Well, it was an eventful month, to say the least. I hope you had an amazing June as well. What did you do this month that you enjoyed? What were some of your favorites?
xoxo,
